HealthCare Minds was established in 2012 by Jane Campion.I trained as a General Nurse in the Adelaide Hospital in the days when we had to wear Florence Nightingale style polka dot dresses and starched aprons – needless to say there have been many changes for the hospital since then and for me too!
Following my training I traveled to Australia for a working holiday, doing agency nursing allowed me insights into different acute hospital settings and broadened my experience, working in the Westmead – the largest hospital in the southern hemisphere was a great opportunity to experience a different health system and different styles of working.
After returning from Oz, I worked extensively in Travel Health and General Practice. I completed a Masters in Health Sciences (Primary Care) with NUI, Galway, and decided to put my newly acquired skills to good use in Clinical Research, and subsequently as a Clinical Services Manager in Homecare.
Working across a variety of settings has given me valuable opportunities to gain a myriad of skills and knowledge, not just clinical skills but non-clinical skills too.
Throughout my career I have been committed to evidence based best practice and Continuing Professional Development, supporting other health professionals through lecturing, mentoring, writing educational material and developing training programmes using both classroom based learning and E-learning.
I am delighted to launch HealthCare Minds Ltd and look forward to developing long and valued relationships based on integrity with you.
