23 Aug Primary Care Conference 2012
HealthCare Minds was delighted to get the opportunity to exhibit at the “Learning Together to Work Together” Primary Care Conference 2012 in the Crown Plaza Hotel, Dublin, in May.
Having attended a number of conferences on previous occasions organised by Health Events Ltd, Grainne, as always, delivered on her promise of embracing the variety and the skills of Irish healthcare professionals. In her usual smooth, efficient and calm manner she developed and ran a programme that is pertinent to today’s healthcare professionals and more importantly on topics for inspiring service delivery for tomorrow’s health service, focusing on inter-professional education.
The Conference was efficiently chaired by Fergal Bowers – Health Correspondent RTE News. Among many interesting speakers were members of the Kinsale PCT, who presented informative and enlightening experiences of the opportunities and challenges they encounter on a day-to-day basis as part of a PCT, including how they have developed methods of learning from each other. They won the Irish Medical Times Award Irish Healthcare Award late last year for their project on inter-professional education meetings.
Engaging Q&A’s and discussions followed the presentations, indeed many of the discussions continued on in a more social settings of the restaurant and bar later on.
It was super to catch up with some old friends and colleagues, meet and chat to some new ones and gain some new insights and ideas.
