Nurses week is coming, take time to thank your favourite nurse.
Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th; International Nurses Day (IND) is an international day marks the contributions nurses make to society celebrated around the world on 12 May of each year – the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth – founder of modern nursing. The International Council of Nurses (ICN) has celebrated this day since 1965.
Thank a Nurse
Nurses make valuable contributions to society every day, so take time to thank a nurse that has touched your life, or someone close to you. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture, a few words, a card or poem is always appreciated.
Acknowledge the hard work, long hours, and emotional stress that are part of the life of every nurse on International Nurses Day.
